If you’re planning a trip to Tokyo and looking for a hotel that combines beautiful high-floor views, a Japanese-style public bath, convenient transportation, and easy access to shopping, Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu Premier could be a great choice.
Located in the modern waterfront district of Toyosu, this stylish hotel offers views of the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay. Toyosu Station and Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu are directly connected to the building, while airport limousine buses travel directly to both Narita and Haneda airports. Whether you’re visiting Tokyo for sightseeing or business, the location is extremely convenient.
For this stay, I booked a Superior Room (2 beds). After experiencing the hotel firsthand, I’m sharing my thoughts on the room, public bath, breakfast, and overall pros and cons. If you’ve been comparing Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu Premier reviews, I hope my experience helps you decide whether this is the right Tokyo hotel for you.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu Premier is an upscale hotel under the reputable Mitsui Garden Hotels brand, blending stylish design, high-floor panoramic views, and a sophisticated, relaxing atmosphere.
Opened in 2020, the hotel features a modern, art-forward interior with contemporary design elements and a sleek color palette.
📍Address: 2-2-1 Toyosu, Koto City, Tokyo
⭐Hotel Star Rating: 4-Star Hotel
📑Guest Ratings: Agoda 9/10 | Google 4.4/5
💰Price Range: From approx. US$170/ night for a Double Room
📍 Getting There & Transit
Subway Access: The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Toyosu Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line. Best of all, it offers direct, weather-sheltered basement elevator access straight to the subway station—no walking outside required.
Airport Transfers: Direct airport coach buses (known locally as “Limousine Buses”) run straight to both Narita (NRT) and Haneda (HND) airports. The hotel elevator takes you right down to the ground-floor bus stop, making airport transfers seamless if you are traveling with heavy luggage.
🐱Compared with hotels in central Tokyo that can easily cost more than US$250 per night, it offers impressive value considering the room quality, skyline views, and premium facilities.

📍 Nearby Attractions:
The hotel is directly connected to Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu, a large shopping mall with stores, restaurants, cafés, and entertainment facilities.
From the hotel, you can take the Yurikamome Line for approximately 12 minutes to Shijo-mae Station for Toyosu Market. It takes around six minutes to reach Shin-toyosu Station for teamLab Planets TOKYO.
The location is also convenient for visiting Odaiba, Ginza, and Akihabara.
Hours: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Cost: ¥3,300 per person (approx. $22 USD)
The breakfast is served semi-buffet style: you choose one main course from the menu, then enjoy unlimited access to the buffet station for appetizers, sides, salads, fresh juices, and other beverages. The culinary style leans toward a fusion of Italian and Japanese flavors.
The restaurant is located on the 36th floor, offering stunning floor-to-ceiling window views overlooking Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge. On a clear morning, you can even spot Mount Fuji in the distance.
😼 Cathead’s Pro Tip: If you want a prime window seat with a view of Tokyo Bay, aim to arrive early—ideally before 7:00 AM.
The Verdict: Is It Worth It?
While the ingredients were fresh and high-quality, the actual buffet selection felt a bit limited. For US$22, it doesn’t offer the best value for your money unless you are staying purely for the 36th-floor views.
If you prefer a lighter, more casual breakfast, skip the hotel option and head to the neighboring LaLaport Toyosu mall. You will find excellent, budget-friendly choices like Vie de France (a popular bakery-cafe) or Komeda’s Coffee (a classic Japanese kissaten-style cafe chain known for its morning coffee specials).

For this trip, I stayed in a Superior – 2 Beds, which measures approximately 280 square feet.
The room has a modern minimalist design, with cool neutral colors, simple furniture, and clean lines. The space feels comfortable and artistic without being overly decorative. I felt relaxed as soon as I walked through the door.
📌 Beds: The room has two twin beds. The mattresses were slightly soft, but they still provided reasonable support. After walking around Tokyo all day, my back could finally get some proper rest.
📌 Bathroom: The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas. It was clean, tidy, and equipped with all the essential toiletries.
📌 Hair dryer: A Panasonic ionic hair dryer is provided. As someone with long hair, Cathead was very satisfied with this detail 😺
📌 View: My room faced the city, with a partial view of Tokyo Bay. The city lights and waterfront looked especially beautiful at night ✨
📌 Seating area: The room also had a small sofa, coffee table, and chair, providing enough space to sit down, relax, and enjoy the nighttime view.
As a female traveler, Cathead thought the public bath was excellent!
The bathing area has a modern minimalist design with soft lighting, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
Although the indoor bath is not particularly large, it was well maintained, clean, and not crowded during my visit. The women’s changing room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of dressing stations. The mirrors were well lit, and the entire area was neat and thoughtfully designed.

The hotel also provides a complete set of Sekkisei skincare products, including makeup remover, facial cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. Even if you forget to bring your skincare products, you don’t need to worry. These amenities were also available near the elevator lobby.
Panasonic hair dryers are provided as well, which was another thoughtful and pleasantly surprising detail.
The bath does not use natural hot spring water, but having complimentary access to a large Japanese-style public bath is still a major benefit. After spending an entire day walking around Tokyo, soaking in the bath helped my body and mind feel much more relaxed.

I’d describe Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu Premier as a stylish city hotel that offers more than just the basics. Its high-floor public spaces and thoughtful facilities make it a relaxing place to return to after exploring Tokyo:
Indoor Public Bath: Complimentary for hotel guests, the public bath features a modern minimalist design and soft lighting. Although the indoor bath is not particularly large, it was clean, comfortable, and not crowded during my visit.
Open-Air Bath: The semi-open-air bathing area lets you enjoy the cool outdoor air while soaking.
36th-Floor Restaurant & Bar: Breakfast is served beside floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge. In the evening, you can enjoy a drink at the bar while admiring the waterfront lights.
Self-Service Laundry Room: Open 24 hours a day, making it a practical facility for families and travelers staying in Tokyo for several days.
✅ The Pros

⚠️ The Cons
Couples: The romantic nighttime views, stylish atmosphere, and public bath make it a lovely choice for couples.
Families: The convenient transportation and neighboring shopping mall make traveling with children much easier. KidZania Tokyo, a popular children’s entertainment facility, is also located inside LaLaport Toyosu.
Business travelers: The hotel is close to the Toyosu business district and provides convenient transportation to central Tokyo.

😺 Cathead’s Verdict
I was very satisfied with this stay.
The room was not exceptionally large, but the layout was practical and easy to move around. It was completely comfortable for two guests, and we had enough space to open two large suitcases.
What I loved most was the hotel’s interior design, high-floor views, and modern artwork. Art installations can be found along the passageways on the basement level, first floor, and 36th floor, giving the hotel a stylish and upscale atmosphere.
The transportation convenience was another major advantage. Toyosu Station and LaLaport Toyosu are directly below the hotel and can be reached by elevator. This made traveling with luggage much easier, and I didn’t need to worry too much about bad weather.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu Premier is a great choice for travelers who value convenient transportation, easy shopping access, and beautiful views of Tokyo Bay.
For me, being able to admire the Tokyo Bay and Rainbow Bridge views from the upper floors—and then completely relax in the public bath—made this Tokyo trip feel even more complete.
Whether you’re visiting Tokyo for a vacation or a business trip, Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu Premier offers a comfortable place to slow down and relax after a busy day in the city.
